hen Dr. Adam Crowley, a biological scientist of significant sway in the London field of medicine, died in a freak fire in his laborotory in Bloomsbury on October 17th of this year, Many of his possessions were destroyed. Although among the surviving items were a few unidentified obviously entirely decorative skulls and a leather bound book. The book was never opened when the wreckage was cleared, but instead was collected by a good friend of Dr. Crowley's - Rev. Ignatius Blackward.
