hroughout history people have always talked about the paranoia inspired by certain statues and figurines, phrases like "It seems so lifelike" or "It looks like it's just going to reach out at me" often spring to the air, and obviously some statues seem to cause this affect more than others. One of the best recorded incidents of architechtural paranoia was back in the 1830's when a monument in east Marylbone crafted in the Gothic days containing three enormous Gargoyles apparently 'sprang to life'. Of course many of the witnesses of this incident were found to be of unsound mind and many were commited soon after their claims were proved false. Pity there was truth in what they said...
